About Course

Understand how online payments really work, compare payment providers and their fees, prepare a successful account application, and keep chargebacks low.

This is a self-study module: six short written lessons you can take at your own pace, a workbook with comparison sheets and checklists, a 10-question quiz and a certificate of completion. It prepares you for Payments & Checkout (module 11), where you connect your chosen provider to your own website with a trainer.

This course is general education about how online payments work. Rules differ by country: for your own situation, check with a qualified accountant or lawyer.
